How often do you update the site?
Every week, usually a sunday, we replace some of the older movie clips with new ones and add new pictures. Sometimes, we do Short Seasons of clips which will be on the site for just a couple of weeks. At Christmas, we put up a couple of clips of your Webmaster getting a caning. You may get to see more of those but he prefers normally to be on the giving end of the cane :-)
How long do the movie clips remain on your site?
Since we started in November 2001, we have been gradually building up the video collection on the site. This has enabled us to introduce different Themes to satisfy the varying tastes of our Members. We retire some of the older clips to make way for new ones. The clips will normally remain on the site for 6-8 weeks so you don't have to rush to download all the ones you are interested in. The pictures remain on the site for ever and are not removed.
Membership of British Discipline costs £9.95 (about $17.00) for the first 30 days then £8.50 (about $14.50) per month until you cancel. US$ exchange rates vary. The US$ costs in brackets are intended only as a guide. You can also pay in Euros. Your credit card company will convert to your local currency at their published current rate.
How do I download a movie clip?
On each movie clip download page theres is a link which you can click on to get download information
If you have a slow or unreliable modem connection and a large file to download, you might find Download Accelerator a useful tool. We use it when we are testing the downloads. Click on the logo below to visit their site for more info.
We recommend either Windows media player (which comes free with Windows software and is also available for the Mac) or Real Player. Both give excellent results though it's worth trying other players if you've got them. You cannot play our movies with Quicktime. Our Real Media movie clips will only play on the Real Media player (see below for how to get one free). You can also get Crystal Movie Player free from www.crystalplayer.com
Open the Player, click on file, open and select the file you have just downloaded.

Do you intend to put longer clips on the site?
This is a tricky one. We would love to - we know that some people are frustrated because you like to see the pre-amble to the punishment and the effects afterwards. But it's all a question of bandwidth and download times. Some of the larger ones already take several minutes to download on standard 56K modems. Even 128K ISDN, which is the connection we use ourselves for uploading the originals onto the site, is slow. As the take-up of broadband, cable and ADSL becomes greater, we'll have a rethink about this.
Our subscriptions are handled for
us by our billing agent Tickets Club. They take your credit card details when
you subscribe and look after all subscription details. When you subscribe
successfully, they add your username and password to our password file, which
we then check whenever you sign in. We do not receive your credit card details;
they are secret to Tickets Club.
