Information about filming at BD

These FAQs help you understand some of the practical things about filming at BD,
either as a film star in one of our video clips or as a BD Challenger

We get a lot of guys who tell us they want to take the BD Challenge and it has become tricky to organise sessions. Sometimes guys don't turn up when they say they will (or at all). Sometimes they expect to be on their own and find others there. These FAQs will help you understand a bit more about the sessions

Where is BD?

We have now moved out of our Central London studio in Grays Inn Road. We are now in North West London at BD Central. Nearest tube is Neasden on the Jubilee line (20 mins out of central London), followed by a short walk. When you agree to come, we will send you a map and directions. If you really must come by car (not recommended), there is a car park about 5 mins walk away.

What time do you start and finish?

We usually start around 2pm and go on till about 7pm. We are usually knackered by then so we go and have a beer (or ten).

How often do you have filming sessions?

Up til now, we have done about 1 a month and we have tried to do video clip filming as well as the Challenger filming at the same session. This hasn't really worked so we are now going to do one video clip filming session a month plus one Challenger session a month. We do weekends and weekdays.

Do I have my own time slot?

We will try. And if everything goes according to plan (it never has so far), then you'll get your slot when you arrive. But we are really dependent on everyone else. Most of the guys set the whole afternoon aside and that makes things easier to plan. If you can be less specific (eg I prefer early or I prefer later) then that's usually better to fit in

How many strokes? What do I have to do?

This is pretty much up to you. But this is meant to be a Challenge so don't expect to turn up for a light handspanking over thick jeans! That said, an OTK bare arse spanking of 30 or more strokes can be pretty gruelling for some people. You should think about having 6 different scenarios - a minimum of 6 strokes (more is better) each with 2 or 3 implements. We won't force you to take a judicial caning (unless you want it), that's not what it's about. But a variety of clothing (including bare arse) and implements would make a good session for our members to see. For example, a mixture of jeans, shorts, army or sportskit with strap, belt, slipper and cane would make a nice Challenge. It really is up to you. How long is a session/video clip?

How long is a piece of string? A 6 stroke clip can be 30 seconds. And you can wait as long as you like between clips. If you are taking 12 strokes and we do them slowly then it will take longer. You can have a break or carry straight on - up to you.

What if I change my mind when I get there?

No problem. We don't make anyone do anything they don't want to do. If you wanna take breaks, that's fine. You may change your mind about the challenge you signed up for. You are in charge of what happens for your session. No pressure. All we ask is that you don't turn up and just watch, having said you will take part. We're very relaxed about the sessions but we do expect you to take some CP, even if you are not in the mood for your original ideas

Is there an age limit for being in a BD video clip or taking the Challenge?

We don't operate an ageist policy at BD - but we do ask that you are fit and have a firm body and arse. We produce video clips which our members want to see and that's what they tell us they want. Although age and loss of firmness often go together, it isn't always true. There are extremely fit older men who have fought off the ravages of time and make excellent clips!! It's all to do with what you look like physically rather than how old you are. If in doubt, send us a pic.
The lower age limit is 18.

Will there be any sex? No! This is a CP challenge and we won't expect you to engage in any sexual activity - unless you and another challenger fancy each other and you get it together by mutual agreement. But that's up to you. How many BD guys are there? There's 2 of us at BD who do the filming, lighting and general organising of props and stuff. Chris and Tug usually do the punishment, unless you bring your own top or take a liking for one of the other guys there! Sometimes we have visiting tops, but not always. Will there be other Challenger guys there? Almost certainly. In the time we are filming, we have to get as much film in the can as possible. We tend to invite about 4 people to a session and they may well still be there when you are. If you don't want to be watched then we have to be very specific about timing your slot.

What's it like at BD Central? Chaotic! We have a kitchen and a fridge which we stuff with cold beers and cokes. We get sandwiches in and biccies. There's tea and coffee available. And its all free! There's a sofa where you can spark out waiting your turn or relax after your punishment There's an area where you can chat and smoke if you want. We try to keep the studio a non-smoking area - but Chris finds that a challenge in itself! So if you are an ardent anti smoker, don't come !! Most of all, it's a good laugh and the blokes who come along have a really good time. That's what we think is most important and we try to put everyone at their ease.

You sound very disorganised

Got it in one! If you are looking for (or expect) a highly efficient well-oiled machine, then don't come! It won't be for you. There's lots of waiting around, lots of discussion about camera angles, props, lighting, implements, dresscodes and god knows what. We admit we are not the most efficient of teams - but we do make good clips!! But we are getting more experience at this and they are getting better all the time. But the most important thing is that ALL the guys who have been to BD Central have said how much they enjoyed it and wanna come again. And loads of them do! Many of them have found new mates and that's nice. Two of them are now living together as an item (and there's no charge for that either!!)

Does any money change hands?

No. At the end of the session, we give you a free password for the site which is valid for a year and we cancel your paid membership if you are already a member.
