CHARACTER TRAINING FOR SCOUT AND TRAININGSHIP BOYS BY MAJOR F.M. CRUM 1923

Major F.M. Crum was a Boy Scout leader, and his camps in Scotland were famous for strict discipline. So much so that one of the toughest reformatory Trainingships in Scotland decided to let groups of thier boys stay, with instructors, at several of Major Crum's camps.

Boys from the Reformatory Training Ship 'Empress', were mostly from Glasgow, or some of the Highland areas of Scotland, and they were used to corporal punishment on board the reformatory Ship. Major Crum wrote several booklets about his 'Charicter Training Camps".
